Any thing related to EB immigration, whether it be H1B cap/VB/Retrogression, it has been spreading like wild fire and traveling faster than the speed of wire. On one occasion, I felt that we and lawyers are probably giving more input to the USCIS. Some rumor/educated guess kicks off some where and it ends up in the lap of USCIS. Like H1B cap. People predicted and predicted non stop for 2 months that it will be over on day one. Its not a prediction. It was a forced situation to some extent. This whole VB revision is similar, if it happens

AR11 is legal requirement. And that is the first step.
But apparently USCIS system doesnt update your address on pending applications, with a seach by Name. So in the second step, you need to provide the application receipt numbers and update your address on them.
Ok, so basically I need to call customer service and have them update address for all pending cases?

Even my employer never handed me a copy of L/C and i 140 petition, though I did not pressurise them. They just told me they will send and that never happened.

Somebody recently gave me a red dot for one of my posts, which is alright, but the person qualified it with a highly offensive Hindi expletive. The words are too obscene to be posted in open forum so I will refrain from reproducing them.
I want IV to reveal the name of the culprit, and ban him/her immediately. Failing which, I will have to evaluate other options to seek redress.
Needless to say, this whole dot mongering is seriously flawed and needs rethinking.

If you have AAA membership, try them, they do it for free for 1 set typically.
You may have to go in the hours stipulated by them.
AAA is not free :cool: I tried it a couple of weeks ago. Infact they are on the expensive side (compared to Kinkos, Sears, Walmart etc.)

Thursday afternoon at 2:00 EST, legal immigration will be the topic on NPR�s talk show �Talk of the Nation.� They�ll be looking for people to call in with their stories.
All members, please call in if you have a compelling story on how the broken legal immigration system affects your life and chokes growth, discourages new talent from coming into the country etc. etc.
Avoid bashing illegals or any other groups. Its not IV policy and should not be done.
We've wanted attention to the LEGAL variety of immigration debate and here is your chance to call in, and make your voice heard.
STAND UP AND SPEAK UP.

I drove to Canada for H1-visa stamp renewal a few weeks ago and was surprised that Canada Immigration did not ask for my I-94 at point of entry.
I asked the immigration officer if they should take my I-94 but they declined saying it wasn't necessary and that I'd get an I-94 when coming back into the U.S, which is exactly what happened so perhaps this is perfectly normal.
I am not worrying about it at all.
I think when travel to with North America(Canada & Mexico) you need not submit you current I 94 if you are going to reneter within 30 days of your exit.

I am also in the same boat. Me and wife applied (efile) same time. Mine EAD has approved. For her still pending. Both APs also pending.

employer A(American Company) has offered me a job and asked me to start from Monday(02/23) but employer B(Indian Company) has applied for
H1b transfer.
The only thing I am worried, if there is another layoff with employer A before H1B transfer with employer B. In that situation can I join employer B and maintain my status.

I am happy to share with you all that I applied my 485 on 1 week of June and it got approved today.
My PD was dec 2005. eb3. India.
Thought i would share with you all.:)
Correct me if i am wrong. In May Visa bulletin the PD date was April 2004 and in June 13 th Visa bulletin it was Current for July filer and after that everybody knows about the fiasco. How come you filed in June when your PD was not current (Your PD in mail is Dec 2005)?

Anyhow Kudos to Cornyn. Arise , Awake and stop not till the goal is reached. he was beaten several times to death with all his amendments, but still I am seeing him with full of energy when it comes to EBs.

What is your exact job description in labor? I had similar delimma and I took paid consultation and as per the lawyrer, This transition falls into the catagory of "Similar" job so no problem however the biggest IF is your job description in Labor.
Are you looking for specific language? How was similar defined from your attorney?

My employer refuses to give my copy of approve LC.
I had MS + 1.5 yrs of exp.
So not sure if they had exp in the job description as I dont see any job that requires MS + 1 yr of exp.
